The advantages of growing your own stone are numerous: No more dealing with unsavory drug dealers, and it is like gold (green gold) growing on trees. Growing weed is no big deal, any dumb ass can do it - and many do.
1) Get a clone. If you have no friends and cannot get a clone then plant some seeds that you found in your bag o’ bud. Don’t have seeds then order them online. Seeds are small and can easily go through customs, plus you only need a few to start with. Plant your seeds, and learn how to sex marijuana plants. Kill the males (I know it hurts, but they are useles). Now that you only have females you are in business, but before you flower them get as many clones as you can to keep your grow going forever and ever….. amen!
2) Have two grow rooms - one for veg and another for your clones. Use a second room to flower your plants and produce marijuana buds.
3) The lights in your veg room can be on 24 hours a day. The lights in your bud room should be on for 12 hours and off for 12 hours. The budding cycle of marijuana takes about 8 weeks. You can just keep adding plants from your veg room to the budding room as the plants finish. This way you can have a constant supply of marijuana.

Is it suprising that university professors are stoned? O.K. not all of them. We also have stoned teachers in high schools. It is not very shocking at all. Think about this. Students are biggest consumers of marijuana. How many student loans do you think are used to buy weed by the pound for resale so poor starving students can make it through the school year? If investing your student loan worked once why not do that every single year. Of course people do this, and have earned their higher education in more ways than one. Armed with a degree students become teachers, and even professors. Professors can receive funding from government agencies and the smart ones are doing the same thing with those funds as they used to do with their student loans.

The first rule of being a marijuana grower is to shut up. Quit bragging about it to your friends and offering non-stop tours to everyone and their blabbermouth friends. If you follow just that one rule nobody will ever know what you are up to.

Other than growers shooting their mouths off, the most common way of being is discovered is through the power company. If you steal power, you will get caught, and then have to pay back what you owe (yeah right, like that is ever going to happen). The power companies have sophisticated tools to find out if your stealing, so don’t do it, plus it is dishonest. Just pay your bills like a regular joe.
Because high intensity lighting is expensive to operate use it to optimal efficiency. Use sheilds, and go with a hydroponic system so you get maximum yeilds and quality.
There are so called power saving devices that you can wire up your lights through. I think they are suppose to reduce spikes. I think they are a waste of money. I am sure they won’t save you any cash.
During the summer you can grow outside, and then when winter comes grow inside. If your house is normally heated by electricity your bills would go up anyways. Turn off all the heating in your house, or use gas, or a wood stove. By not using electric baseboard heating your power bills will look totally normal. If you grow-op is in the basement, the heat will rise, and help keep the house warm. The only problem is you will end up with moisture on your windows, and that is a tell tale sign of a marijuana grow operation. Unless you want to stand there all day with a squeegie and towels, seal up the grow room, and vent it properly.
If you are growing in a barn or workshop on your property install a power meter for that building. This way you will get two bills; One for the house and the other for the shop. Here is a little trick to lesson suspicious power use. Run a power cable underground from the house to the barn - now you have two power sources on two different meters. Farms and large properties use more power than normal households so nobody will be the wiser.

Ionizers also kill the weed smell, but then leave a ozone odour. Air freshners don’t work. You cannot cover up the smell of weed, only eliminate it. Having good ventilation also helps with the smell problem, but to do it right carbon filters are the way to go.
In the netherlands they are looking into growing “state marijuana” to supply the domestic demand. The reason why the government wants to grow weed is to get organized crime out of the business. Would it work? Absolutely. If enough marijuana was grown the price would drop so much that organized crime would be unable to make a profit from it. Of course people will always want to smoke the highest quality possible, so if the dutch government grows tasty, potent bud, people would choose it over lesser weed.
The dutch government knows exactly what works. Now lets look at the United States. They have harsh drug laws and yet have a huge drug problem. It is easier to get crystal meth or crack in the U.S. than it is to find good weed. Obviously the war on drugs in not working. It never has, and it never will. The only thing the war on drugs will accomplish is making the drug trade profitable. I don’t expect the american government to ever get it, but I really do wish they would keep their policies to themselves, and leave other countries to enforce their own laws. The day that Marc Emery was arrested by the U.S. government while he was in Canada was a slap in the face to Canadians. This is Canada, not the states, we have different laws, and different culture. The United States should smarten up, and look to Canada as a example of tolerance. As for Canada, we need to stop being so apathetic and stand up for what we believe in. I wonder how many Americans wish the could move to Canada to avoid persecution by the U.S. Government. You can bet that I will never being visiting the states. I really hope that Barack Obama can straighten that country out - he has a heck of a job ahead of him.
